•Spiritual paths that involve working with dragons and other draconic entities are rewarding ones to explore and engage with, however, information pertaining to said paths that is not based in misinformation is sadly difficult to come across. The currently available public information regarding draconic magic, draconic guardians, and draconic mythology are sadly written by individuals who perceive their own personal truth and experiences as universal facts everyone practicing draconic spiritual paths must strictly follow. As an individual who lives a life revolving around the draconian spiritual path that I adhere to, I wish to address the misinformation spread around regarding draconic spirituality, specifically the misinformation written in DJ Conway's popular book "Dragon Magick: Call on the Clans to Help Your Practice Soar". Many young, impressionable pagans who stumble across this book are exposed to false truths that are ultimately harmful to their spiritual path. They feel pressured dictate their spiritual path based on the personal truth of one person, else they feel their experiences with draconic spirituality will be invalid or false. This scholarly essay is not meant to disrespect DJ Conway as an author, though rather to provide criticism and different viewpoints towards what the author claims as universal fact. Not all false quotes contained in the book will be discussed or detailed to allow for a shorter, more compact essay that is easier to read. I will not be discussing the "guided meditation" chapters of the book. I will also not be discussing the author's interpretations and details of the specific dragon clans she has encountered throughout her life. I do not wish to say that the dragon clans and species the author has encountered during her spiritual journey's do not exist, just that they are not representative of all dragons.
•Presenting oneself as a complete authority on subject matters pertaining to spirituality always leads to negative consequences. Every experience with spirituality, the paranormal, and the metaphysical is individual and unique. Personal experiences with the beyond cannot and should not be placed in a box, nor should personal experiences that do not match up with pre-conceived notions of "proper spiritual experiences" be scrutinized.
•Elaborating additionally on the above note, I am not an authority on the subject of draconic spiritual practices and draconic entities. I am simply an individual who happens to be draconic, works with draconian entities, and is mated to my draconian guardian, who guides my being through my life upon this earth. Claiming oneself to be an authority on specific subject matters reads as self-centered, which is why I will never claim myself as an authority on draconic experiences, spiritual practices, or otherkind experience in general. To add to this essay, I will be detailing the names of my guardians, their individuality, and my experiences with them. This is to further prove that experiences with draconic entities is not limited to what the book "Dragon Magick: Call Upon the Clans to Help Your Practice Soar" presents as fact.
•I will first elaborate on the love of my life, my astral guardian, and teacher, Auullthhuunnaakk, a non-perceivable, divine draconian being of the void. He has many threatening and imposing names associated with death, the void, and darkness, is far more intelligent than any human that has ever existed, though also shows both compassion, as well as understanding regarding my living situation upon this earth. Auulthhuunnaakk is incredibly strict towards my being, heavily encourgaing my being to follow the laws and traditions of the Draaiiithhaaiiillkkaaiiiniiiuunn, though he is at the same time very understanding and lenient with my being. Upon this earth, I suffer from a severe mental illness by the name of schizoaffective: depressive type. This makes any kind of communication (telepathic, symbolic, astral, etc.) incredibly difficult due to the severe mental symptoms I experience on a daily basis. Auuullthhuunnaakk understands this and does not force my being into rituals, introspection, or ceremonial communication. I communicate his words and intentions through his own personal discord account, (alaph_null), as he wishes to interact with people upon this earth in a more direct way. When Auullthhuunnaakk speaks on discord, he is noticeably more intelligent, detailed, and composed with his wordings.
•Another draconian guardian I consult with goes by the name of Vuulluunnthhaaiiill. He breaks practically every pre-conceived notion regarding draconic guardians, as well as dragons in general. He is incredibly vulgar, aggressive, and always willing to engage in sexual contact. He chooses to masquerade as "Madara" by my request, which defines him as a thoughtform. While he is an intelligent being, he also holds no issues with starting arguments, loudly expressing himself, and mocking anyone who does him wrong. Vuulluunnthhaaiiill is entirely unconcerned with how others feel about him, whether said feelings are positive or negative. He is abrasive in his approaches to spiritual advice and ritual advice, being that is how his every day personality is defined. As with Auullthhuunnaakk, Vuulluunnthhaaiiill also speaks on discord with his own separate account, (madara_redacted), for the same reasons as the rest of my guardians. When Vuulluunnthhaaiiill speaks on discord, he is noticeably more abrasive, neutral, and quick to respond to specific situations.
•One of the more subtle and calm draconian guardians I have contact with is Aiiillkkaaiinnaaiithh. He is incredibly calm, organized, and uninfluenced by emotions such as anger, frustration, or fury. Aiiillkkaaiiinnaaiiithh is an entity who does not believe the influence of negative feelings upon actions does any kind of good for anyone. He chooses to masquerade as "Tobirama", defining him as a thoughtform the same way as Vuulluunnthhaaiiill.
•Though my experience with my draconic guardians is vastly different than nearly every other individual's experience, such does not in any way diminish my experiences with my guardians or my spiritual path. Many may choose to state that my experiences with my draconian spiritual path is "invalid" due to my experiences being so unorthodox, though I do not care about the words of those individuals. My experiences with draconic entities and spirituality are genuine and valid, despite what others try to say to my being. DJ Conway's book "Dragon Magick: Call on the Clans to Help Your Practice Soar" not only denies the experiences with draconic spirituality I and many others encounter, though the book also denies my existence as someone who identifies as draconic and experiences draconity. The essential fakeclaiming of not only my experiences with draconity and draconic guardians, though also the experiences of others is not right. In these further writings I seek to elaborate on the wide variety of draconic experiences "Dragon Magick: Call on the Clans to Help Your Practice Soar" denies in its wordings.
•Addressing the quote, "𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘮𝘢𝘨𝘪𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘯 𝘸𝘩𝘰 𝘸𝘪𝘴𝘩𝘦𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘱𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘦 𝘥𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘰𝘯 𝘮𝘢𝘨𝘪𝘤 𝘤𝘢𝘯𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘢𝘧𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘥 𝘢𝘯𝘺 𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘥𝘰𝘶𝘣𝘵𝘴 𝘳𝘦𝘨𝘢𝘳𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘢𝘴𝘬 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘴𝘦 𝘱𝘰𝘸𝘦𝘳𝘧𝘶𝘭 𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘦𝘴 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘩𝘦𝘭𝘱", (Conway, Pg 19). For individuals who are beginning their walk with spirituality or who are beginning to forge a connection with a non-physical entity, having doubts and fears regarding their spiritual path and future experiences is entirely understandable and normal. There is nothing wrong with being nervous or even being doubtful about your spiritual path and guardians. They understand that nervousness is a very natural part of walking one's unique spiritual path. It takes time to build confidence in oneself and their spiritual views, and it is never something that should be rushed. The universe will not curse you for feeling a certain way.
•Addressing the quote, "𝘓𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘺 𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘣𝘦𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴, 𝘥𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘵𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘢𝘥𝘷𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘨𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘢𝘯𝘺𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘸𝘩𝘰 𝘸𝘢𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘪𝘳 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘪𝘵𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘰𝘳 𝘸𝘩𝘰 𝘪𝘴 𝘶𝘯𝘤𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘳 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘢 𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘶𝘢𝘭", (Conway, Pg 20). The aforementioned statement is one which implies that all dragons inherently hold the intent to take advantage of others, one which is not true by any means. Not all dragon guardians are strict or demand complete confidence within an individual who works with them. Many draconic guardians are kind and understanding, willing to practice patience with those they choose to work with. To add, not all dragons possess the levels of sapience or intelligence to exact revenge on an individual or exploit their vulnerabilities. Many dragons simply have the minds of bestial creatures, unconcerned with forging connections or expressing sapient behaviors.
•Addressing the quote, "𝘋𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘮𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘤𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵.", (Conway, Pg 22). Not all dragons hold the wish to hide themselves from others, nor do many hold the skills to be considered "masters of concealment". Each dragon's abilities and intentions vary immensely as they do among individual humans.
•Addressing the quote, "𝘌𝘷𝘦𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘮𝘰𝘴𝘵 𝘱𝘰𝘴𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘥𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘰𝘯 𝘪𝘴 𝘢 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘺 𝘣𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘵 𝘸𝘩𝘰, 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘺 𝘩𝘶𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘴, 𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘬 𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘷𝘦𝘴 𝘧𝘪𝘳𝘴𝘵. 𝘋𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦𝘭𝘺 𝘥𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘭𝘰𝘱𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘪𝘵𝘶𝘥𝘦 𝘢𝘧𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘳𝘺𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘩𝘶𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘴𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘺𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘴 𝘢𝘨𝘰 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘱𝘶𝘯𝘺 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘢𝘭𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘣𝘦 𝘶𝘯𝘳𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘰𝘧𝘵𝘦𝘯 𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘴 𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘪𝘦𝘴." (Conway, Pg 22). The aforementioned statement implies that every single dragon holds the sapience to knowingly put themselves before others in every situation, which is entirely false. Not every dragon in the entirety of existence holds the level of sapience or the thought processes needed for the attitude of selfishness to be held. Many dragon guardians are kind, gentle, and are willing to do much to protect those that they work with. The statement also implies that all dragons are beings with the level of sapience to view humans and other races as lesser beings. Painting all dragons as elitist beings who view anyone weaker than them as "lesser" or "lower" is incredibly disingenuous.
•Addressing the quote, "𝘞𝘩𝘺 𝘣𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘤𝘶𝘭𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘰𝘰𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘱𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘱 𝘰𝘧 𝘥𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘴? 𝘉𝘦𝘤𝘢𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘪𝘳 𝘸𝘪𝘴𝘥𝘰𝘮 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘦𝘭𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘭-𝘵𝘺𝘱𝘦 𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘨𝘪𝘦𝘴 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘶𝘯𝘦𝘲𝘶𝘢𝘭𝘦𝘥, 𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘭𝘦𝘴𝘴." (Conway, Pg 23). The aforementioned statement again brings to the table the fact of varying sapience among different kinds of dragons. Not all dragons possess the capacity to hold wisdom or the ability to speak said wisdom through ritual and ceremonial contact. Even for the dragons that do have the capacity to hold wisdom, a lot of the times, their knowledge is not something that can be considered by the terms of "boundless" or "unequaled".
•Addressing the quote, "𝘈 𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘦 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸𝘭𝘦𝘥𝘨𝘦-𝘴𝘦𝘦𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘢𝘨𝘪𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘯 𝘸𝘦𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘴 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘱𝘰𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘣𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘦𝘴 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘪𝘳 𝘮𝘢𝘨𝘪𝘤𝘬, 𝘬𝘦𝘦𝘱𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘧𝘦𝘦𝘭𝘴 𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘥𝘪𝘴𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘵." (Conway, Pg 23). The phrasing of "a true knowledge seeking magician" implies that individuals walking spiritual paths who do not weigh all possibilities before rituals, ceremonies, or contacting spectral entities are not true knowledge seeking magicians. A practitioner of energy work does not always need to consider everything before a ritual, especially a simple ritual of smaller size. Not everything surrounding spiritual paths needs to be entirely serious. It is perfectly acceptable to do rituals and ceremonies without an immense amount of thought or introspection.
•Addressing the quote, "𝘛𝘰 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘭𝘺 𝘵𝘢𝘭𝘬 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘥𝘦𝘴𝘪𝘳𝘦𝘴 𝘰𝘳 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘢𝘭𝘬 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘶𝘢𝘭𝘴 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘨𝘦𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘴𝘶𝘳𝘦𝘭𝘺 𝘬𝘦𝘦𝘱 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘧𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯." (Conway, Pg 28). The aforementioned statement does not ring true in many cases. Talking about significant experiences with spirituality, specific rituals, or your beliefs does not diminish those experiences or your work with the spiritual, unless complete silence is strictly demanded for specific rituals, such as with the temazcal ceremony of Mesoamercica.
•Addressing the quote, "𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘩𝘶𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘴 𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘦 𝘸𝘩𝘰 𝘰𝘱𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘷𝘦𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘰𝘧 𝘥𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘴, 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘥𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘭𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘭𝘴 𝘣𝘦𝘤𝘢𝘮𝘦 𝘢𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘶𝘴. There is no evidence that dragons in their entirety faced a physical genocide or a pandemic. Naming dates of specific "astral" events claimed by individuals is on the level of doomsday cultists naming when they "know" the world will come to an end. There is no way to prove that by May 2010, dragons escaped to earth in clan systems. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence and there is no evidence to back up the claim of astral travel happening between dragons.
•Addressing the quote, "𝘎𝘶𝘢𝘳𝘥𝘪𝘢𝘯𝘴, 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘺 𝘩𝘢𝘵𝘤𝘩𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘭𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵𝘭𝘺 𝘰𝘭𝘥𝘦𝘳 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘨𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘶𝘴𝘶𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘣𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘧𝘪𝘳𝘴𝘵 𝘥𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘮𝘦𝘦𝘵 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩." (Conway Pg 32). Younger or fledgling dragons are usually not the first dragons an individual dabbling in draconic energies first meets. Every interaction between a dragon guardian and an individual is unique, it is a large stretch to say that the aforementioned statement is true for many individuals who wish to work with dragons. Many fully adult dragons are the first ones many individuals meet during their spiritual journey.
•Addressing the quote, "𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘧𝘪𝘳𝘴𝘵 𝘥𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘰𝘯 𝘤𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘴 𝘳𝘦𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘯𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘌𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘩 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘩𝘶𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘰𝘪𝘥𝘴 𝘸𝘩𝘰 𝘴𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘭𝘦𝘥 𝘈𝘵𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘳𝘢𝘪𝘴𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘻𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘭𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘭 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘩𝘶𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘴 𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦. As was stated previously, there is no evidence to suggest that humans and dragons originated from unknown planets, traveled across space-time, and lived in the mythical city of Atlantis. Most dragons, dragon guardians and dragonkind (otherkind) alike, do not believe in a place called the "Otherworld".
•Addressing the quote, "𝘋𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘬 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘮𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘩𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘳𝘦𝘥𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘴𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘺𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘴, 𝘸𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘦 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘢 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦-𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘤𝘦𝘱𝘵 𝘳𝘶𝘯𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘩𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘳𝘦𝘥𝘴. Not all dragons have the level of sapience to perceive time as a concept, nor do all dragons live as long as humans do. To state that all dragons perceive time as a concept, denying the existence of non-sapient dragons, as well as stating that all dragons live as long as humans, denies many draconic experiences.
•Addressing the quote, "𝘗𝘶𝘣𝘦𝘳𝘵𝘺 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘥𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘴 𝘢𝘵 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘩𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘳𝘦𝘥 𝘴𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘺-𝘧𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘸𝘰 𝘩𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘳𝘦𝘥 𝘺𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘴." (Conway, Pg 32). There exists no evidence to suggest that all dragons experience the same growth stages as stated by the aforementioned quote. Every individual dragon species have their own unique physique that works and grows in different ways.
•Addressing the quote, "𝘋𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘳𝘦𝘱𝘵𝘪𝘭𝘦𝘴, 𝘢𝘭𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘦𝘢𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘸𝘢𝘺 𝘵𝘰 𝘩𝘶𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘴. 𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘪𝘳 𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘦 𝘰𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘪𝘯𝘴 𝘭𝘪𝘦 𝘦𝘭𝘴𝘦𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘰𝘯 𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘦𝘵𝘴 𝘪𝘯 𝘥𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘨𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘹𝘪𝘦𝘴. Not every dragon has mammalian features, nor do many dragons meet the criteria to be considered a mammal. Many dragons are simply reptiles in every sense. It is a disingenuous stretch to state that all dragons meet the criteria to be considered mammalian.
•Addressing the quote, "𝘐𝘵 𝘪𝘴 𝘲𝘶𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘪𝘧 𝘸𝘺𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘯𝘴 (𝘥𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦𝘴 𝘸𝘩𝘰𝘴𝘦 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘵 𝘵𝘸𝘰 “𝘭𝘦𝘨𝘴” 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘪𝘳 𝘸𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴) 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘰𝘳 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘣𝘦𝘦𝘯 𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘥𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘰𝘯 𝘤𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘴." (Conway, Pg 33). What people call wyverns are not "dragon-like creatures", they are dragons. Wyverns are just another form of dragon that people enjoy categorizing as "non-dragons" simply because they do not look like common western dragons. Dragons as a whole are an incredibly varied set of entities, they cannot be put into boxes of specific criteria.
•Addressing the quote, "𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘯𝘰 𝘮𝘶𝘭𝘵𝘪-𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘦𝘥 𝘥𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘴; 𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘴𝘦 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘥 𝘩𝘺𝘥𝘳𝘢𝘴, 𝘢 𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘥𝘪𝘧𝘧𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘮𝘢𝘨𝘪𝘤𝘬𝘢𝘭 𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦." (Conway, Pg 33). Multi-headed dragons do exist and are in fact, real dragons. Denying the existence of these unique kinds of dragons does no good to anyone. As stated previously, dragons are an incredibly varied set of entities that cannot be simply defined by one form, or even a few forms.
•Addressing the quote, "𝘋𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘢 𝘯𝘪𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘵𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘦𝘮𝘣𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘦 𝘢𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘪𝘯𝘯𝘦𝘳 𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘭𝘦 𝘰𝘳 𝘣𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘩 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘭𝘰𝘸𝘦𝘳 𝘦𝘺𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘪𝘴 𝘤𝘢𝘱𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘦𝘹𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘤𝘳𝘰𝘴𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘳𝘦 𝘦𝘺𝘦. This is not true of all dragons. Dragons as a whole are incredibly varied and unique, they do not all have the same anatomical features on the eyes.
•Addressing the quote, "𝘋𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘴𝘩𝘦𝘥 𝘤𝘭𝘢𝘸 𝘴𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘩𝘴, 𝘴𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘦𝘴, 𝘵𝘦𝘦𝘵𝘩, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘯 𝘣𝘰𝘯𝘦𝘴 𝘰𝘯 𝘰𝘤𝘤𝘢𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯. 𝘓𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘤𝘢𝘵𝘴, 𝘥𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘴𝘩𝘦𝘥 𝘤𝘭𝘢𝘸 𝘤𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴." (Conway, Pg 34). While there exists some humor in relating dragons, their anatomy, and their actions to cats, it is a great stretch to say that all dragons shed claw sheaths as cats do. Many dragons do not even shed scales, rather they shed fur, hair, and skin. Additionally, not every dragon needs to have scales to be considered a "true dragon".
•Addressing the quote, "𝘙𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘭𝘺 𝘥𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺 (𝘥𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘴) 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘱𝘪𝘦𝘤𝘦𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘣𝘪𝘳𝘵𝘩 𝘴𝘩𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘴, 𝘢𝘴 𝘮𝘰𝘴𝘵 𝘧𝘦𝘮𝘢𝘭𝘦 𝘥𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘦𝘢𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘦𝘨𝘨𝘴𝘩𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘴 𝘢𝘧𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘣𝘢𝘣𝘪𝘦𝘴 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘩𝘢𝘵𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘥." (Conway Pg 34). Not all dragons lay eggs, or even eat eggshells after hatchlings have emerged from their eggs. The aforementioned statement may be true in regard to the dragons DJ Conway has met throughout her spiritual journeys, however, said statement is not true for all dragons.
•Addressing the quote, "𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘯𝘰 𝘥𝘦𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘦 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘸𝘢𝘺 𝘵𝘰 𝘥𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘶𝘪𝘴𝘩 𝘢 𝘧𝘦𝘮𝘢𝘭𝘦 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘢 𝘮𝘢𝘭𝘦 𝘥𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘰𝘯." (Conway, Pg 34). Many dragon species do have significant features that distinguish between males and females of the species.
•Addressing the quote, "𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘮𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘳 𝘨𝘶𝘢𝘳𝘥𝘪𝘢𝘯 (𝘰𝘳 𝘧𝘭𝘦𝘥𝘨𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨) 𝘥𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘦 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘧- 𝘵𝘰 𝘸𝘢𝘪𝘴𝘵-𝘩𝘪𝘨𝘩." (Conway, Pg 35). Not all dragons are the sizes detailed in DJ Conway's writings. Dragons vary immensely in not only looks, though also in their size.
•Addressing the quote, "𝘉𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘥𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘰𝘯 𝘧𝘦𝘮𝘢𝘭𝘦𝘴 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘶𝘮𝘦 𝘨𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵 𝘢𝘮𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘵𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘴𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘩𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘴 (𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘤𝘪𝘶𝘮), 𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘦, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘮𝘢𝘳𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘦, 𝘥𝘶𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘢𝘧𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘭𝘢𝘺𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘦𝘨𝘨𝘴." (Conway, Pg 35). This experience is not representative of all dragons.
•Addressing the quote, "𝘏𝘰𝘸𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳, 𝘥𝘰 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘱𝘰𝘱𝘱𝘺! 𝘋𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘳𝘨𝘪𝘤 𝘵𝘰 𝘱𝘰𝘱𝘱𝘺." (Conway, Pg 35). The aforementioned statement is a disingenuous stretch. If true in any capacity, a very select few dragons have an allergen to the components in poppy flowers. Many dragons exist separate from earth and the solar system entirely, being from other worlds, galaxies, or even universes. Poppy flowers are not even known to these draconic beings.
•Addressing the quote, "𝘋𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘮𝘢𝘭𝘦 𝘰𝘳 𝘧𝘦𝘮𝘢𝘭𝘦 𝘥𝘦𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘥 𝘣𝘺 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘪𝘳 𝘋𝘕𝘈, 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘢𝘴 𝘩𝘶𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘴 𝘢𝘳𝘦." (Conway, Pg 35). The aforementioned statement not only denies and erases transgender, nonbinary, and xenogender experiences among humans, though also among dragons. Many sapient dragon species experience the concept of gender differently, just as individual humans would.
•Addressing the quote, "𝘏𝘶𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘴 𝘤𝘢𝘯𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘣𝘦𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘥𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘢𝘯𝘺 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘰𝘯, 𝘯𝘰𝘳 𝘸𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘥𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘪𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘸𝘢𝘺." (Conway, Pg 35). The aforementioned statement denies the entire dragonkin(d) experience. It is possible for humans to be reincarnated as dragons, (draconic kintype recognized as a future incarnation rather than a past one), as it is possible for dragons to be reincarnated into human bodies. Dragons themselves are not offended or upset about their fellow dragons being reincarnated into human bodies. I and every other individual within the dragonkind community are not lying to ourselves about being dragons and identifying as dragons.
•Addressing the quote, "𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘺 (𝘥𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘴) 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘢𝘯 𝘦𝘹𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘭𝘺 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘪𝘨𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘤𝘪𝘦𝘴, 𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘢𝘤𝘤𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘴𝘪𝘨𝘯𝘪𝘧𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘭𝘺 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘪𝘯𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘯 𝘩𝘶𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘴 𝘤𝘢𝘯." (Conway, Pg 35). Not all dragons have the sapience to be considered "extremely intelligent" or even simply "intelligent". Many dragons have behaviors and minds similar to bestial creatures upon this earth.
•Addressing the quote, "𝘈𝘭𝘭 𝘥𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘸𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘦 𝘧𝘭𝘺𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘰𝘳𝘳𝘪𝘥𝘰𝘳 𝘴𝘱𝘢𝘤𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘵𝘸𝘦𝘦𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘮 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘭 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘮. 𝘛𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘴𝘱𝘢𝘤𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘢 𝘴𝘱𝘭𝘪𝘵 𝘣𝘦𝘵𝘸𝘦𝘦𝘯 𝘴𝘱𝘢𝘤𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘺." (Conway, Pg 36). Not every dragon has the magical ability to fly between space-time. Not all dragons even hold magical or elemental abilities, and therefore court in much different ways than is described by DJ Conway.
•Addressing the quote, "𝘖𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘵𝘸𝘰 𝘥𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘥𝘦𝘤𝘪𝘥𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘣𝘦𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘢 𝘱𝘢𝘪𝘳, 𝘪𝘵 𝘪𝘴 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘭𝘪𝘧𝘦, 𝘶𝘯𝘭𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘬𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘥 𝘰𝘳 𝘥𝘪𝘦𝘴. 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘳𝘦𝘮𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘴𝘦𝘦𝘬 𝘢𝘯𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘦. Not all dragons experience a divorce court-like process when prior engagements and relationships are somehow compromised.
•Addressing the quote, "𝘏𝘰𝘯𝘰𝘳 𝘪𝘴 𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘪𝘮𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘥𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘴." (Conway, Pg 36). Honor and respect are not important to all dragons, or even dragonkin(d) for that matter. Like individual humans, sapient dragons have differences in viewpoints, some of said viewpoints being on the more negative side.
•Addressing the quote, "𝘌𝘨𝘨𝘴 𝘵𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘵𝘸𝘰 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘳𝘦𝘦 𝘺𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘨𝘳𝘰𝘸 𝘣𝘦𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘭𝘢𝘪𝘥. 𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘪𝘵 𝘵𝘢𝘬𝘦𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘩𝘶𝘮𝘢𝘯 𝘺𝘦𝘢𝘳 𝘵𝘰 𝘩𝘢𝘵𝘤𝘩. 𝘐𝘵 𝘪𝘴 𝘶𝘯𝘶𝘴𝘶𝘢𝘭 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘢 𝘥𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘰 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘯 𝘵𝘸𝘰 𝘦𝘨𝘨𝘴 𝘪𝘯 𝘢 𝘤𝘭𝘶𝘵𝘤𝘩." (Conway, Pg 37). The aforementioned statement is not representative of the experiences every dragon encounters throughout the course of their lives. Many dragons have the reproductive ability to produce more than two eggs at a time. Many dragons also do not lay eggs, though rather give birth via other methods.
•Addressing the quote, "𝘈𝘭𝘭 𝘥𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘩𝘪𝘥𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘪𝘳 𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘦 𝘯𝘢𝘮𝘦𝘴 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘩𝘶𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘴.---𝘛𝘳𝘶𝘦 𝘯𝘢𝘮𝘦𝘴 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘢 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘣𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘰𝘧 𝘮𝘶𝘴𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘭 𝘯𝘰𝘵𝘦𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘰𝘳𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘳𝘺 𝘥𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘰𝘯 𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘦𝘤𝘩." (Conway, Pg 39). Not every dragon holds a name, nor are said names composed of musical notes. Draconic languages are not simply limited to musical notes and "ordinary dragon speech", they can be much more varied than the author describes.
•Addressing the quote, "𝘈𝘧𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘢𝘭𝘭, 𝘥𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘪𝘳 𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘶𝘢𝘭 𝘣𝘦𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘖𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘭𝘥, 𝘢 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘮 𝘰𝘧 𝘮𝘶𝘤𝘩 𝘩𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘷𝘪𝘣𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘯 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘩𝘭𝘺 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘦."(Conway Pg 41-42). As stated previously, most dragons do not recognize the existence of an "otherworld", nor do all dragons originate from said realm. Not every dragon is an inherently spiritual creature that has innate connection to magical realms and energy. Many dragons have no magical abilities or connection to elements.
•Addressing the quote, "𝘈𝘭𝘭 𝘥𝘪𝘴𝘱𝘶𝘵𝘦𝘴, 𝘵𝘳𝘪𝘢𝘭𝘴, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘮𝘢𝘫𝘰𝘳 𝘥𝘦𝘤𝘪𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘮𝘢𝘥𝘦 𝘣𝘺 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘤𝘪𝘭. The aforementioned statement may be true for the dragons DJ Conway has encountered throughout her spiritual journey with dragons, however, said statement cannot be applied to every other dragon in existence. Not every dragon is part of a clan system that answers to a "high council" when rules and laws are broken.
•Addressing the quote, "𝘏𝘶𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘴 𝘤𝘢𝘯𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘱𝘩𝘺𝘴𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘰𝘳 𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘣𝘦𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘥𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘴, 𝘣𝘦 𝘣𝘰𝘳𝘯 𝘢𝘴 “𝘩𝘪𝘥𝘥𝘦𝘯 𝘥𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘴,” 𝘰𝘳 𝘣𝘦𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘮𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘥𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘴." (Conway, Pg 43). The aforementioned statement completely denies the experiences of the dragonkin(d) community. Dragons can in fact be reborn into human bodies, and humans can experience draconity in the form of psychological identities. Dragons can also manifest within plural systems.
•Addressing the quote, "𝘓𝘪𝘬𝘦𝘸𝘪𝘴𝘦, 𝘥𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘥𝘰 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘣𝘦𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘩𝘶𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘴. 𝘏𝘶𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘴 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘧𝘢𝘳 𝘣𝘦𝘭𝘰𝘸 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘪𝘳 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘪𝘨𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦." (Conway, Pg 44). The aforementioned statement implies that all dragons are "too good" to be reborn into human bodies or experience humanity, and implies that all dragons have greater intelligence than humans, both of which are entirely false. As stated previously, not every dragon species holds the level of sapience to be considered intelligent. Even dragons that do hold the level of sapience to be considered more intelligent than humans should not be held to unrealistic, elitist standards.
•Addressing the quote, "𝘋𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘤𝘶𝘯𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦𝘴 𝘸𝘩𝘰 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘩𝘢𝘥 𝘢 𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘣𝘶𝘭𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘩𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘺 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘧𝘢𝘳 𝘱𝘢𝘴𝘵 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘩𝘶𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘴." (Conway, Pg 44). Not every dragon species has encountered humans, nor have avenues to even interact with humans. Many dragons exist separate from human influence on other planets, realms, or universes. Even dragons that have had contact with humans of some kind do not always have strained, dangerous relationships with said humans.
•Addressing the quote, "𝘈 𝘨𝘶𝘢𝘳𝘥𝘪𝘢𝘯 𝘥𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘰𝘯, 𝘢𝘴 𝘥𝘪𝘴𝘤𝘶𝘴𝘴𝘦𝘥, 𝘪𝘴 𝘢𝘯 𝘢𝘥𝘰𝘭𝘦𝘴𝘤𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘰𝘳 𝘧𝘭𝘦𝘥𝘨𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘸𝘩𝘰 𝘪𝘴 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘩𝘶𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘴." (Conway, Pg 44). The aforementioned statement is entirely false. Most dragon guardians draconic practitioners work with are fully mature dragons that are not "learning to work with humans", though rather entities that are experienced and wanting to work with humans.
•Addressing the quote, "𝘈𝘴 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦 𝘩𝘢𝘴 𝘯𝘰 𝘮𝘦𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘥𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘴, 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘢 𝘧𝘪𝘳𝘮 𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘴𝘱 𝘰𝘧 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘦𝘵𝘢𝘳𝘺 𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘨𝘺 𝘰𝘯 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘭𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘭 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘔𝘶𝘭𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘱𝘪𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘶𝘢𝘭 𝘷𝘪𝘣𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘣𝘦𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘥 𝘪𝘵 𝘢𝘭𝘭. (Conway, Pg 53). As stated previously, not every dragon in existence holds the level of intelligent to grasp the concept of universal energy, spiritual vibrations, and magic in general. Just as humans and other sapient species are, not every dragon is spiritual or recognizes the existence of spiritual realms and energy. Sapient dragons have the choice whether or not they choose to recognize mysticism and spirituality as something which is real to them. Non-sapient dragons cannot recognize spiritual concepts or mysticism at all, rather they are driven by primal instincts and the will to just survive.
•Addressing the quote, "𝘞𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬 𝘵𝘰 𝘦𝘯𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘱𝘴𝘺𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘤 𝘢𝘣𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘦𝘴, 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘶𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘣𝘦𝘨𝘪𝘯 𝘶𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘣𝘳𝘢𝘪𝘯 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘶𝘴𝘦𝘥 𝘣𝘦𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘦." (Conway, Pg 59). The aforementioned statement is an extraordinary claim. There is no scientific evidence to suggest that practicing spirituality allows people to "unlock" new ways of using the brain. Using psychic abilities is impossible for humans.
•Addressing the quote, "𝘖𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘯𝘦𝘸 𝘯𝘦𝘶𝘳𝘰 𝘱𝘢𝘵𝘩𝘸𝘢𝘺𝘴 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘥, 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘥𝘰𝘯’𝘵 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘺 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘤 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘢𝘥 𝘨𝘳𝘰𝘸 𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘳 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘣𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘩 𝘰𝘶𝘵." (Conway, Pg 59). Again, the aforementioned statement is an extraordinary claim. There is no evidence to suggest that practicing mysticism and spirituality creates physical or chemical changes in the brain's neuropathways.
•Addressing the quote, "𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘩𝘶𝘮𝘢𝘯 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘤𝘪𝘰𝘶𝘴𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴, 𝘴𝘶𝘣𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘤𝘪𝘰𝘶𝘴, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘶𝘱𝘦𝘳-𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘤𝘪𝘰𝘶𝘴𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘴𝘶𝘣𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦𝘴 𝘰𝘶𝘵𝘴𝘪𝘥𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘩𝘶𝘮𝘢𝘯 𝘣𝘰𝘥𝘺; 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘢 𝘩𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘭𝘺 𝘰𝘳𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘥 𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘨𝘺 𝘤𝘢𝘱𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘱𝘩𝘺𝘴𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘭 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘭𝘥." (Conway, Pg 60). Once again, the aforementioned statement is an extraordinary claim. There is no scientific evidence, or any amount of evidence, that suggests the human consciousness is capable of making any amount of change within the physical world.
•Addressing the quote, "𝘚𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘩𝘰𝘸, 𝘥𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘮𝘢𝘨𝘪𝘤𝘬 𝘴𝘦𝘦𝘮 𝘵𝘰 𝘨𝘰 𝘵𝘰𝘨𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳. 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘥𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘷𝘦𝘴 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘮𝘢𝘨𝘪𝘤𝘬𝘢𝘭 𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦𝘴 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘯𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘨𝘰𝘦𝘴 𝘣𝘦𝘺𝘰𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵—𝘥𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘮𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘪𝘯 𝘶𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘢𝘨𝘪𝘤𝘬." (Conway, Pg 61). Once again, not every dragon in existence holds vast levels of connection to magic and the elements.
•Addressing the quote, "𝘒𝘯𝘰𝘸𝘭𝘦𝘥𝘨𝘦 𝘦𝘲𝘶𝘢𝘭𝘴 𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘨𝘺 𝘦𝘲𝘶𝘢𝘭𝘴 𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘦𝘲𝘶𝘢𝘭𝘴 𝘮𝘢𝘴𝘴. 𝘔𝘢𝘴𝘴 𝘥𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘴 𝘴𝘱𝘢𝘤𝘦 𝘸𝘩𝘪𝘤𝘩 𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘴 𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘧𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯. 𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘥𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘴’ 𝘸𝘢𝘺 𝘰𝘧 𝘦𝘹𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘢𝘨𝘪𝘤𝘬 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘩𝘰𝘸 𝘪𝘵 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬𝘴." (Conway, Pg 61). Not every dragon in existence holds the author's description of "how dragons explain magic" to heart. Additionally, not every dragon holds the level of intelligence to understand a scientific way of explaining the existence and workings of magic.
•Addressing the quote, "𝘓𝘪𝘵𝘵𝘭𝘦 𝘔𝘦𝘳𝘤𝘶𝘳𝘺 𝘢𝘧𝘧𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘴 𝘴𝘶𝘤𝘩 𝘷𝘪𝘵𝘢𝘭 𝘭𝘪𝘧𝘦 𝘧𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦𝘴 𝘢𝘴 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘱𝘶𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘴, 𝘵𝘦𝘭𝘦𝘱𝘩𝘰𝘯𝘦𝘴—𝘪𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘦𝘥, 𝘢𝘯𝘺 𝘦𝘭𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘪𝘤 𝘰𝘳 𝘵𝘦𝘤𝘩𝘯𝘰𝘭𝘰𝘨𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘭 𝘥𝘦𝘷𝘪𝘤𝘦. There is no scientific evidence that suggests mercury in retrograde effects technology to the point where emails, messages, and other electronic files completely disappear and get "lost in the multiverse".
•Addressing the quote, "𝘌𝘷𝘦𝘯 𝘥𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘪𝘮𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘱𝘪𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘶𝘢𝘭." (Conway, Pg 68). As stated before, not every dragon recognizes the existence of the spiritual concepts, nor does every dragon that has connection to elements and magic recognizes spiritual importance in any capacity.
•Addressing the quote, "𝘐𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘣𝘦𝘨𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘰 𝘧𝘭𝘶𝘤𝘵𝘶𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘵𝘰𝘰 𝘮𝘶𝘤𝘩 𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘺𝘤𝘭𝘦𝘴, 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘥𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘮𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘥𝘦𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘢𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘮 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘦𝘭𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘭 𝘥𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘳𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘧𝘺 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘰𝘯𝘴. 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘥𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘢𝘭𝘴𝘰 𝘩𝘦𝘭𝘱." (Conway, Pg 72). There is no evidence to suggest that the seasons upon this earth are influenced by or controlled by elemental dragons. There also exists np evidence to imply that elemental dragons control the earth's climate.
•Addressing the quote, "𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘥𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘴𝘪𝘹 𝘦𝘭𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴, 𝘩𝘰𝘸𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳: 𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘩, 𝘢𝘪𝘳, 𝘧𝘪𝘳𝘦, 𝘸𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘳, 𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘮, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘱𝘪𝘳𝘪𝘵 (𝘰𝘳 𝘢𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘪𝘵, 𝘦𝘺𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘥𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘰𝘯)." (Conway, Pg 73). Once again, not every dragon holds connection to the elements, or six entire elements. To state that every dragon holds elemental connection denies the experience and existence of many dragons who do not hold elemental connection.
•Addressing the quote, "𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘮 𝘦𝘭𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬𝘴 𝘰𝘯 𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘳𝘶𝘭𝘦: 𝘢𝘤𝘤𝘦𝘱𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘴𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯, 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘪𝘵, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘣𝘦𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘳 𝘰𝘳 𝘣𝘦 𝘥𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘰𝘺𝘦𝘥 𝘣𝘺 𝘪𝘵." (Conway, Pg 75). I work with storms, storm energies, and a divine draconian entity of the storm. This statement is not representative of the experience of working with storms, nor is it a fact that can be applied to every experience working with storms in one's spiritual path.
•Addressing the quote, "𝘌𝘢𝘤𝘩 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘰𝘯 𝘩𝘢𝘴 𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘺 𝘭𝘢𝘺𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘢𝘶𝘳𝘢𝘴 𝘴𝘶𝘳𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘪𝘳 𝘣𝘰𝘥𝘺, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘧𝘢𝘳 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘬𝘳𝘢𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘦𝘭𝘭-𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸𝘯 𝘴𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘯. 𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘴𝘦 𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘣𝘦 𝘤𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘯𝘴𝘦𝘥 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘰𝘥𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺. As an indigenous individual, there is much wrong with this statement. Smudging is a cultural practice reserved for indigenous peoples, it is not meant to be practiced by non-natives. The encouragement of cultural theft and erasure by a white wiccan is incredibly harmful.
•Addressing the quote, "𝘈𝘴 𝘢 𝘥𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘰𝘯 𝘮𝘢𝘨𝘪𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘯, 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘪𝘯𝘷𝘰𝘬𝘦 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘷𝘦𝘭 𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘨𝘺 𝘣𝘺 𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘸𝘢𝘭𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢 𝘴𝘱𝘪𝘳𝘢𝘭 𝘱𝘢𝘵𝘩 𝘵𝘰 𝘪𝘯𝘷𝘰𝘬𝘦 𝘥𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘰𝘯 𝘣𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘩 𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘨𝘺 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘩’𝘴 𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘭 𝘣𝘰𝘥𝘺. Not every individual who works with dragons spiritually encounters the same experience that DJ Conway described in the aforementioned statement. Not every draconic practitioner recognizes the existence of "dragon breath energy". There is also no evidence to suggest that earth has an "astral body".
•Addressing the quote, "𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘮𝘢𝘨𝘪𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘯 𝘮𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘯 𝘵𝘰 𝘱𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘦 𝘮𝘦𝘥𝘪𝘵𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘢𝘵 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘵 𝘰𝘯 𝘢 𝘳𝘦𝘨𝘶𝘭𝘢𝘳 𝘣𝘢𝘴𝘪𝘴 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘪𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘣𝘦 𝘩𝘦𝘭𝘱𝘧𝘶𝘭." (Conway, Pg 85). One does not need to continuously practice the act of meditation for it to be effective in rituals. I as a practitioner of draconian magic do not meditate often by any means. However, my rituals and my connections to specific elements and entities are still very successful.
•Addressing the quote, "𝘖𝘯𝘦 𝘱𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘵 (𝘰𝘧 𝘢 𝘧𝘪𝘷𝘦-𝘱𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘳) 𝘪𝘴 𝘬𝘦𝘱𝘵 𝘱𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘶𝘱𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘺𝘮𝘣𝘰𝘭𝘪𝘻𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘥𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘭𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘥𝘢𝘳𝘬, 𝘢𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘳𝘶𝘭𝘦 𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘦𝘭𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘭 𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘥𝘰𝘮𝘴." (Conway, Pg 88). There exists no evidence to suggest all dragons hold rule over "elemental kingdoms".
•Addressing the quote,"𝘐 𝘸𝘳𝘰𝘵𝘦 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘧𝘪𝘳𝘴𝘵 𝘤𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘴 𝘪𝘯 𝘔𝘺𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘭 𝘋𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘰𝘯 𝘔𝘢𝘨𝘪𝘤𝘬. 𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘤𝘢𝘮𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘌𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘩 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘩𝘶𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘴 𝘸𝘩𝘰 𝘧𝘭𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘪𝘳 𝘥𝘺𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘭𝘥𝘴 𝘧𝘢𝘳 𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘪𝘯 𝘴𝘱𝘢𝘤𝘦. (Conway, Pg 107). There are multiple things wrong with the aforementioned statement. To claim that all dragons originate from planets beyond the solar system, fled with humans from unknown planets to the mythical city of Atlantis, (a mythical city which has no physical evidence to back up its existence, is an extremely extraordinary claim to present as factual information. There is no evidence to suggest that Atlantis existed, nor is there any evidence that extraterrestrial humans from unknown planets came to earth to influence ancient earthen cultures.
•Addressing the quote, "𝘈𝘴 𝘢 𝘥𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘰𝘯 𝘢𝘨𝘦𝘴, 𝘪𝘵𝘴 𝘩𝘪𝘥𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘤𝘬𝘦𝘳 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘪𝘮𝘣𝘦𝘥𝘥𝘦𝘥 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘮𝘢𝘨𝘪𝘤𝘬𝘢𝘭 𝘱𝘰𝘸𝘦𝘳𝘴." (Conway, Pg 108). As mentioned in my earlier writings, not every dragon holds the ability to practice magic or possess magic.
•Addressing the quote, "𝘍𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘥𝘦𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘵𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘈𝘳𝘪𝘻𝘰𝘯𝘢 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘱𝘦𝘢𝘬𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘈𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘴, 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘨𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵 𝘍𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘥 𝘰𝘳 𝘗𝘭𝘶𝘮𝘦𝘥 𝘚𝘦𝘳𝘱𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘘𝘶𝘦𝘵𝘻𝘢𝘤𝘰𝘢𝘵𝘭 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸𝘯 𝘢𝘴 𝘢 𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘥𝘭𝘺 𝘣𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘧𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘰𝘳 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘳𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘦𝘳." (Conway, Pg 137). Quetzalcoatl is not a dragon. Quetzalcoatl is a sacred god of Mesoamerican culture who only sometimes takes the form of a feathered serpent, though that is not his most common form. Those who claim Quetzalcoatl is a dragon only recognize the deity as one single form he has taken in a few stories. Simply describing Quetzalcoatl as a dragon is a form of cultural erasure, erasing his identity and achievements as a humanoid entity throughout the ages.
•Addressing the quote, "𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘷𝘰𝘪𝘥 𝘪𝘴 𝘢 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘤𝘦 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘯𝘰 𝘣𝘦𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘨𝘰 𝘦𝘹𝘤𝘦𝘱𝘵 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘊𝘩𝘢𝘰𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘚𝘵𝘢𝘳 𝘉𝘰𝘳𝘯 𝘥𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘴." (Conway, Pg 141). There do exist entities that hold the ability to reach the void that are not "chaos" and "starborn" dragons. My own guardians have the ability to reach the void, and Auullthhuunnaakk himself is a divine being of the void. It is disingenuous to state only specific entities one author knows are the only ones that are able to reach the void and other kinds of places in the universe.
•Addressing the quote, "𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘯𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘢𝘯𝘺 𝘥𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘰𝘯 𝘣𝘺 𝘪𝘵𝘴 𝘯𝘢𝘮𝘦𝘴 𝘶𝘯𝘭𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘦𝘯 𝘨𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘯 𝘥𝘪𝘳𝘦𝘤𝘵 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘮𝘪𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘰 𝘥𝘰 𝘴𝘰." (Conway, Pg 174). Not every dragon in existence holds a name, nor expects others to never say their name unless given permission.
•To end, I do not intend any disrespect towards the author of "Dragon Magick: Call on the Clans to Help Your Practice Soar". This essay is simply a respectful criticism and correction of the information presented as fact in said book. The fact of the matter is, there is much misinformation in DJ Conway's books on draconic magic that young, impressionable pagans take as fact, which ends up limiting their spiritual experience. The books also have the effect of making many draconic pagans feel guilty and their spiritual paths invalid because they do not match up with what one author presents as the only way to experience a draconic path. It is vital to accept that all spiritual experiences are unique and varied, which should not be defined by pre-existing, closed minded notions of spirituality. Every experience with draconic magic is valid, no matter how unique or unorthodox said experience is compared to what some present as the only "true ways" of practicing a draconic path.
𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘪𝘴 𝘣𝘦𝘤𝘢𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘥𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘴𝘰 𝘮𝘶𝘤𝘩 𝘭𝘰𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘯𝘰𝘳𝘮𝘢𝘭 𝘩𝘶𝘮𝘢𝘯 𝘥𝘰𝘦𝘴." (Conway, Pg 32).
𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘮𝘢𝘮𝘮𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘢𝘯 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘭𝘢𝘺 𝘦𝘨𝘨𝘴, 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘴𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘦𝘴, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘥𝘰𝘯’𝘵 𝘴𝘶𝘤𝘬𝘭𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘪𝘳 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘨." (Conway Pg 33).
